Junior Competition
The Juniors competition is played in summer only (starting in September and finishing in March) and offers Hawk Ball, T-Ball, Zooka and Live Ball for players 5 years and over. Games are played on Saturday mornings with starting times varying from 8:15am to 12:30pm depending on ground availability and home team preferences. Some U12, U14 and U16 games (Div 1 teams) will be played on Friday nights at 6:00pm or 8:00pm. Game durations vary depending on age group. Stealers play in the Ryde Hawks Baseball League (RHBL).

In term 4 we train each Saturday morning from 8:15am – 9:15am at Golden Jubilee. In term 1 we introduce some away games against other clubs, you don’t have to travel far as all games are geographically based. All Coaches are accredited by Ryde Hawks Coaching staff.
Little League T-Ball
U7 ~ U8 – competitive games designed to develop the basic skills necessary for all young players to play baseball or any sport. Every child bats in a game and fields in different positions. Little League Zooka

A machine called a zooka allows players to bat against a ball delivered at a safe speed in a controlled and consistent strike zone, building their confidence before moving to live ball pitching. Little League Live Ball

The focus is still on having fun while developing young players skills to maximise their playing enjoyment in a competitive environment.
