An extremely hard fought low scoring game was played between the Kuringai Stealers and the West Boomers.
The game went to the 7th inning all tied up 3-3. In the top of the seventh, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, a game saving catch was made in center field by Tim Roberts. In the bottom of the 7th, Grand Final MVP, Matt Lee, led off the inning with a walk, stole 2nd, and came home with the winning run off a hit from Graham Solling.
After the game, the umpires said it was the best game they had witnessed all season.
