Sunday Feb 3 8am – 11am
We are in the home stretch for summer baseball now and recruitment for softball and winter baseball will soon begin.
Summer has certainly hit GJ hard and is in dire need of some work. To that end, I am organising a working bee for Sunday Feb 3 8am – 11am.
Whilst not limited to the items below, please see below for a few things that need to be done:
- Edging of all running tracks (unfortunately the company that normally does this once a month can no longer do them)
- Running tracks/cut outs need topping up with dolerite
- Jon Dodds will take a team of workers and finish the erection of the shed and general clean up of batting cages
- Whipper snippering
- Club house clean up
- Weeding
- Hedges need trimming/tidying up etc
So please take this as a “all hands on deck” approach and hopefully we can get a lot of people there to help out.
Also asking volunteers to bring whatever gardening equipment they may have, including whipper snipper, hedge trimmer, wheelbarrow, spade/shovel etc.
It would be great to get as many people there as possible, as this will obviously enable us to get things done quicker and get out of there as soon as possible.
